Digital tools and concepts help to redesign language courses in the context of adult education. In the NewNormal, online and blended formats are introduced that ideally combine the advantages of synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Learners and teachers can thus gain new degrees of freedom, both in terms of the learning process and the organization of learning.

But which concepts are there, how do they work and why?
Based on practical examples and the presentation of results from the European project Face-to-face to distance, these and other questions will be discussed and possible answers developed.
